The Essentials of Staging and Performing Shakespeare with Children and Young People
Venue: Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford upon Avon, UK
This intensive five-day course will extend your skills in developing ensemble approaches to student's performance of Shakespeare, inspired by RSC rehearsal room practices.
The course will relate to a Shakespeare production playing in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre with training linked directly to the play and production.
RSC artists, RSC Education practitioners and Warwick academics will provide practical workshops and seminars. The course will include a real-time performance-based research task, which will be assessed and supported by reading and digital resources.
This course can be taken as a stand-alone Postgraduate Award qualification or contribute towards a Postgraduate Certificate or MA pathway.
